Enhance your sports performance - safely, naturally and effectively

Picture
Many athletes suffer from injuries and want to be healed quickly without side effects.  Searching for products not appearing on any doping list?  Injections can be tailored to athletes specific needs to boost energy and speed up recovery. Injections contain natural products that have been used in sports medicine for several decades. Especially in Germany there is a long tradition of the use of natural products in sports medicine (things like injectable traumeel, vitamins, amino acids and homepathic preparations).  Research concerning the use of Traumeel cream reveals how effective and safe these products are for patients.

For treating sports injuries, these products give even fast and effective results.  Trigger points (area of pain and tension) are released, circulation is improved, inflammation reduced and joints strengthened. This is especially true for deeper lesions, for example, in muscles or ligaments that can't normally be reached to apply an ointment.

What's in the injections?

Injections can be tailored to the specific needs of the patient.  High quality homeopathic substances from companies like Pascoe and Heel are used to address issues like nervousness, pain, injuries, low energy, and 48 hours after your event, to treat inflammation and circulation and address any injuries. A range of B vitamins are also added to injections to enhance the function of muscle and nerves, give you energy and boost your metabolism. Specific amino acids that can have been proven safe and effective for improving athletic performance, such as taurine, can also be added.  Procaine is also added to most injection combinations because it improves calcium exchange in the muscle cells, a proven method for 'de-activating' a trigger point (which is a tight, irritable knot or band in a muscle).  In this way it gets rid of pain, and also opens up cells to allow other substances to be better absorbed, promoting the healing mechanism.

When is the best time to get a treatment?

Prior to a big event, you may need injections daily for 3 or 4 days, with no injections 36 hours before the event.  The reasoning behind this is to allow ample time for all of the injectable substances to be working in your system and have no soreness at any injection site before a big event.  After an event, it is ideal to wait 48-72 hours after before having any injections targeted at recovery - after the acute inflammation phase has subsided, that is the ideal time to do things like improve circulation and address any pain or injuries.

A bit about homocysteine

Homocysteine is amino acid found to be linked to cardiovascular disease and stroke. Deficiencies of the vitamins folic acid (B9), pyridoxine (B6), or B12 (cobalamin) can lead to high homocysteine levels. Taking B vitamins helps to transform homocysteine into compounds which are helpful in the body - SAM-e and glutathione. High homocysteine is also associated with cognitive decline. Recent research suggests that intense, long duration exercise raises plasma homocysteine levels, perhaps by increasing the load on methionine metabolism (homocysteine is metabolized into methionine -that's how your body gets rid of it - with the help of B vitamin coenzymes, using up the B vitamin stores to do so).

Methionine is a protein-based amino acid which assists with metabolic function, breaks down fat, and is the primary source of sulfur in the body. As one of the compounds known as a lipotrophic, a fat burner or antioxidant, methionine is also critical for the removal of heavy metals, such as lead and mercury, from the body. Some of its other primary purposes include ensuring healthy liver, kidney, bladder, and artery functions; the maintenance of healthy nails, hair, and skin; and it is essential for muscle growth and energy.
